Commercial solar project update: BMRenew recently sought support from the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) for end-of-financial-year funding to develop the contracts involved in set-up and operation of a commercial solar system. While we weren’t successful, OEH supported BMRenew representatives to attend the Community Energy Congress (see below), which has resulted in a collaboration with REPOWER Shoalhaven who were facing similar hurdles. This is an exciting opportunity and means we may be able to fast-track our search for suitable businesses and investors!
A fresh face on the commercial solar team, also brings unique expertise to BMRenew that may lead to some interesting new initiatives.
Residential solar project update: our residential solar information project continues, with the first solar systems due to be installed soon by attendees at our previous information sessions! Our next public presentation is in the works – details will be announced soon.
In the meantime, if you or someone you know is thinking about installing solar we have plenty of information and tips on our new Residential Solar page.
