Low Carbon Living launches in the Blue Mountains

An exciting new initiative has launched in the Blue Mountains that promises climate-friendly benefits to local businesses and customers alike.

The Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute (BMWHI) has established Low Carbon Living Blue Mountains to encourage businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and promote their efforts online, allowing residents and visitors to support a low carbon local economy.

It’s an important step towards the Blue Mountains becoming one of Australia’s premier eco-tourism destinations – BMRenew is proud to be a partner of the initiative and looks forward to working with BMWHI to ensure our community energy projects and other low carbon initiatives can contribute towards this goal.
